Wicket-keeper batsman graduates from Surrey Academy

Paul Bridge writes...

Llama Sam Hall made his debut for Surrey Seconds this week in a three-day game against Hampshire Seconds at the Ageas Bowl. At the end of the first day’s play Surrey 2s had made 231 all out (Hall made 14 off 55 balls) with Hampshire on 85-5.

Hall has recently returned from Sri Lanka with several good scores to his name on the Surrey Academy tour. Last year Hall was part of the Surrey Under-17 side which won both the one-day and the three-day national under-17 trophies.

Hall made his debut for the Llama 1st team against Sunbury, away, in the last game of the 2016 season.

Hall’s family has just moved from Purley to Reigate which has meant he has left Whitgift School and now starts his A-Level years in the Sixth Form at Reigate Grammar School.
