| Wednesday 31st March 2010 | NatWest Cricket Force Day - Saturday 10th April 2010
After the success of last year - 36 people repainting the club / clearing the net area - we are to embrace the NatWest Cricket Force day again and SATURDAY 10TH APRIL is our day of action around the club. This year we have a variety of jobs lined up - some painting, some clearing, some sorting etc ... something for everyone - and this is an opportunity for EVERYONE to get involved and do something for the club. We'll start the day at 9am, lunch will be provided and depending on numbers its likely that we'll be done by mid afternoon. Obviously the more people we have the quicker the work will get done. Last year saw the emergence of a few budding DIYers and the sight of Rosie on tip toe on a table stretching to paint the ceiling on the verandah having a chat with a relaxed Shaq doing the same standing on the floor next to him was pretty special! If you helped last year it will be great to see you again and for those didn't - come on down. Can you pls let Batesy know (chris.bates@rbs.com ; 07788 568345) if you will be helping on the day so that he can start to build a picture of numbers / jobs we can take on etc.

150 Club Message from Wicksy with respect to the 150 Club: Hi all, As some of you know I have taken over the administration and running of the Priory's 150 Club which I'm sure you can appreciate generates valuable contributions to the Club's finances across the course of the year.
By way of an update we now have well over 100 members in the 150 Club and it is my aim to break the 150 mark by the start of the season and to move to a 200 Club by the end of the season. As the number of members increases we also hope to increase the monthly prize amounts as well as generating increased monies for the club. A look down the current list of members shows many players not currently signed up so you know who you are.... just £12 per year is all it costs and so I would urge you all to sign-up if you are not already a member.
And if you are a member, then what about signing up wives? girlfriends? mistresses? family and friends? Or taking out memberships for the kids and increasing your chances of winning.
Please join today!

End of Season Party - Saturday 5th September Next Saturday signals the end of our 2009 league campaigns and as is tradition, this will be our big end of season bash! Sadly Saturday will also be Hewey's farewell night before he returns to Oz so anyone who missed tour now has the chance to pay tribute to him in true style as we dedicate Saturday's festivities to a special 'Ian Hewett / Bogan Tribute Night!' Fancy dress is a must - speak to anyone who toured to understand what a Bogan typically looks like... Please try to make it on Saturday - it'll be the last big opportunity for us to get together before the season closes and Hewey deserves the best of send offs. Weather permitting there will be a BBQ, they'll be music, Morgs and Galer will be bossing the night with a few games and we have a couple of special musical performances - watch this space... Just be there!. |
