1s defeat Sevenoaks Vine in nail biter

RPCC batted first. Another sublime innings from Mr. Murtagh (94 this week, off 72 balls, batting at number four). Ben Shoare made 64 (off 105 balls batting at number three). These two put on 138 for the 3rd wicket. An innings end collapse saw the Priory go from 222-4 to 242 all out.

Because of two short boundaries the Priory score looked to be 20 runs short. But excellent mid-innings bowling from Steven Hirst (4-24 off nine overs) and Ben Shoare (2-48 off nine overs) put the result in Priory's court - just - by nine runs.
