The 1s had a comfortable 8 wicket win over Sutton on Saturday with the star performers being Michael Munday with 6-21 and Richie Oliver with 83. The victory could not however hide the disappointment of finishing 2nd in the league for the 3rd time in 4 years as East Molesey continued their excellent form by also winning and taking the title.
The "Moles" have had an exceptional season but I suspect the Priory will be forever haunted at the loss of our last 5 wickets for 10 runs and failing to beat them by 5 runs a few weeks back.
Credit to East Molesey and despite all the "if onlys" the Priory may think about the "Moles" have found a way to get over the line week by week.
