For those who do not have this in their diary, we have a great day’s cricket coming up on Friday 28 July with two T20 games in memory of our late coach, Joey Benjamin, who meant so much to so many from Llamaland and Reigate Grammar School.
The first game starts at 2pm when RGS play Reigate Priory under 18’s. This will be followed at 6pm when RGS Old Boys take on the Priory 1st XI. Cricket is only part of the day however because it is also a great social day for family and friends to meet up.
Besides the pavilion bar being open as usual, there will be a Cocktail Bar, the Pilgrim Brewery Bar on the opposite side of the ground to the pavilion, Mustis Grill Food Truck and of course, a Caribbean Food Truck. Please bring along chairs and blankets and enjoy the day.
This of course is Cricket Week and there are matches every day for you to enjoy starting on:
Monday 24th when the Cavaliers take on South Nuffield.
Tuesday when the Llamas play The Cricket Club of India.
Wednesday is Ladies Day followed by a Rapids T20 at 6pm and finally
The usual Thursday fixture when the Llamas take on our good friends, the Mogador Wanderers for The Major's Trophy.
