Some fantastic news came across the Llama news desk this week, with Surrey confirming that Amy Gordon is to be the new Surrey Women's captain.. Amy is rightly proud of her new appointment, as the whole of Llamaland should be, given that Amy has played a lot of her cricket in Llama colours.

A bonus is that Amy's Surrey commitments are not anticipated to impact on her turning out for the Llamas, this season, so we look forward to seeing some of her trademark all round performances gracing Park Lane throughout the season.
