The whole club must know that Michael is our star first team leg spin bowler who pretty well leads our wicket takers every season since he joined us in 2018. Last week was the first time he has missed a match through injury in that time. it's possibly even the first time he has even missed a match. Every year he tops the appearances table.

So what happened last Saturday? With scorer Paul Bridge unavailable and Michael coming to support the lads at East Molesey anyway Richie diplomatically says to him "well if you're coming along anyway you might as well score". Naturally he does. What a clubman!!

Michael's one of only a select band of nine 1st XI players to take over 200 wickets and his 4 wicket haul in the opening match against Guildford moved him above Ian Stamp into 7th position with 227 wickets.
