After half a season with Reigate Priory Reece Topley has been snapped up for £60,000 in the Hundred Draft by the Oval Invincibles. He joins Jason Roy as the second Priory player with the Oval franchise.

Reece, the England ODI player, was introduced to Reigate Priory by Michael Burgess at the start of the 2019 season. After two years or so of being plagued by injuries he was looking to ease his way back to full fitness with some top grade club cricket.

In 7 games for the Priory he proved to be a wonderfully supportive club member, with 100% commitment on the field, in taking 7 wickets in 56 miserly overs.

We are delighted if the Priory have played some small part in Reece's return to full fitness and wish both he and Jason every success with the Invincibles next season.
