Will Hodson (4-32) and Simon King (3-41) helped dismiss Wimbledon 1st XI for 154 on Saturday. At 74-1, the Llamas were cruising, however a steady loss of wickets saw them reduced to 136-8. A resolute 9th wicket partnership from skipper Luke Beaven and Richard Stevens saw them over the line, with Stevens finishing the match in style with a six over square leg.
The 2s fell to their first loss of the season in a rain affected match against Wimbledon. Thirsty was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 50 off his 10. In reply, Will Irving's 71, supported by Jon Gale (42) and David "The Prawn" Ramsden (29), wasn't enough to help chase down the revised total of 232 in 48 overs.
Nick Rotsey's maiden 5-fer helped dismiss Spencer 3s for 104 on Saturday, ably supported by Shayne Cossey's 3-19. Rain meant the revised target was 92 off 44 overs, and Spencer made the Llamas work for every single run. Only Antony Ireland (33) scored more than 13, but Cossey's 13* at the end saw the Llamas through to back to back wins.
The Pirates' match on Saturday ended as a tie, as the Wimbledon Corinthian's last man was run out having thought he'd hit the winning boundary - only for the ball to come up short. Earlier in the day the Llamas set Corinthians 168 to win, with Kyle Haughton and no. 11 Mike Coxon both top-scoring with 25. On the bowling front Manoj Rajarethinam continued his great start to 2016, by taking another 3 wickets.
Finally the 5th XI fell 11 runs short on Saturday, having restricted Spencer 4th XI to 176 for 8 in their 45 overs - Andy Hoad (3-25) being the pick of the bowlers. In reply, despite lots of start from the batsmen, wickets fell regularly, and the Llamas couldn't quite chase down the victory target
