Band of Brothers fall short by 13 runs. By Paul Bridge

An experimental Reigate Priory side lost to Sutton by 11 runs on Sunday in the 3rd round of the ECB National Club 40-over Championship. The win puts Sutton through to a 4th round fixture against Banstead.
Reigate bowled out Sutton in 39 overs for 204 (Luke Smith top scoring with 53 and Luke Beaven taking 3-18).
Reigate scored 191-7 in reply in 40 overs, with Angus Dahl top scoring with 79.
Reigate played with six first team players and five young emerging club players. The side could have played under the banner Band of Brothers as the side had three sets of brothers playing – Luke and Jack Beaven, Angus and Will Dahl and Luke and Rory Haughton.
Sutton will have had no fewer than three visits to the Park Lane ground within three weeks. Next Saturday, Reigate Priory host Sutton in a Surrey Championship 120 over game and on Thursday evening June 28 (start at 6 p.m.) the two meet, again at the Priory, in a Twenty20 Surrey Championship Quarter Final fixture.
