On Monday September 9th 2013 redevelopment of our 85 year clubhouse started. The old building was much loved but it was in a very sad state of repair and was simply not equipped to meet the current demands upon it.

Planning permission to redevelop was first achieved 12 years ago but funding could not be raised. A new scheme obtained detailed planning approval in September 2012 and a wonderful fundraising effort throughout the whole club over the last year has brought our vision to a reality.

We are determined to re-create the previous image of a traditional cricket clubhouse with the charm and character of the old building with its wonderful history. The 1928 clubhouse was a locally listed building and both the planning authority and the club sought to ensure that the characteristics of the building were maintained as closely as possible.

We look forward with huge excitement to the opening of the new redeveloped clubhouse for the start of the 2014 cricket season.
