The club started a 3rd XI playing a handful of games each season in the mid 1980s and their first season with a full fixture list was 1988. In 1989 the Surrey Championship formed a 2nd division of just 7 clubs and Reigate Priory were founder members of this 2nd division. A 1st Division of 18 clubs already existed.
