3. 3rd XI league history


The club started a 3rd XI playing a handful of games each season in the mid 1980s and their first season with a full fixture list was 1988. In 1989 the Surrey Championship formed a 2nd division of just 7 clubs and Reigate Priory were founder members of this 2nd division. A 1st Division of 18 clubs already existed. The history of our 3rd XI in league cricket follows.

1989 - 6th 7 club division
1990 - 4th Division extended to 13 clubs
1991 - 11th Division extended to 15 clubs
1992 - 6th Division reduced to 14 clubs as 3rd Div. formed
1993 - 7th Division increased to 18 clubs
1994 - 3rd
1995 - 3rd
1996 - 6th Division extended to 20 clubs
1997 - 10th
1998 - 8th
1999 - 2nd Promoted to Premier Division of 10 clubs
2000 - 7th
2001 - 2nd
2002 - 1st Champions
2003 - 3rd
2004 - 2nd
2005 - 1st Champions
2006 - 3rd
2007 - 2nd
2008 - 3rd
2009 - 2nd
